I stopped in for a delicious espresso and a perfectly made pastry, and it was a wonderful experience. The two ladies behind the counter were kind and welcoming—even though they didn’t speak English, I tried my best in Italian and we managed just fine. They were nothing like some of the negative comments I’ve read; you can’t expect to visit another country and not make an effort to communicate. The pastries were fresh, the coffee was rich, and the atmosphere felt authentically Venetian. A true local gem worth visiting for a genuine experience.This pastry coffee place is the real deal, with fresh traditional cookies and pastries, some made of almonds so safe for gluten and lactose intolerant people. We finished our tray of goodies so I returned for breakfast as suggested by the friendly guy behind the counter and the apple strudel was so good I took home two more slices. Really worth a visit!
Very nice place, pleasant and communicative staff. Delicious coffee and delicious Italian cakes. Beautiful looking cakes, feast for the eyes and the taste buds. We would love to come back.

We went here on the recommendation of an actual Venetian who said their frittelle were the best. We were not disappointed with the cream-filled sugary donuts, and lucky that we were in town during the time they are made (only during Carnival and just before, apparently).

We had 'first' breakfast here on two mornings. The brioche, in particular the pistachio cream are amazing. Staff were lovely and very helpful to we two non Italians
Fantastic little local bakery with delicious local pastries and some from southern Italy. Prices were low considering location and quality of product.

Best canolli in town, fresh cream, crunchy. By weight. Small counter to eat while standing. Cafe options. They make them in the shop, you can see it's a family establishment. To return

Excellent pistaccio marzipan cake with almonds and raisins. A piece is 6.5 euro but is worth the price. Real good ingredients and perfect texture and taste. The place feels like a local good bakery. Not a tourist trap but a real place. Will come back to check other pastries.

Do yourself a favour and get a tarta veneziana from this place. The reviews about rude service are old. I had nothing but courteous and fast service, and the pastries were to die for!
A real treat!! Venice is an expensive place, but here you can enjoy a coffee and cake at very reasonable prices, just like a local. The produce is first class, as are the staff. Enjoy
